Hiroki Saeki - 18 - Eighth Year - Slytherin - Closed

Hiroki Saeki is haunted by his inner turmoil due to the events of his past. He’d never reveal his troubles to a single soul. Naturally, because of his secretive nature, he’s never truly opened up to anyone. No one knows the true Hiroki as he tries his hardest to avoid it. On the surface, he is seen as a rather reckless individual, unafraid to be a rebel. He’s not one for following rules. If anyone tried to get the best of him or cross him in anyway… he can turn into an absolute nightmare. Beside that fact, he has a way with words, he’s charmer, a real smooth talker making it very easy for him to attract others. He also has an uncanny ability where he knows exactly what someone wants. As much charisma as he oozes, he never gets close to anyone.

Hiroki may belong to the Slytherin house but he sure as hell is not fond of his housemates. He, honestly, finds them to be a whole group of jokes. They’re snobby, judgmental, and some of them are downright evil. Because of his inability to respect them, they’ve made him an outcast within all of Slytherin. Despite who he is internally, he knows he’s not like them.      

Hiroki was born in the city of Osaka in Japan from a muggle mother and a pureblood wizard father. Though, his father died a few months shy of his birth. Brought up as a muggle until his mother -whom was unaware of the fact of her husband being a wizard- got shocking news of her son being a wizard when he grew older. She dealt with it for a few years until she couldn’t deal with it anymore. She was disgraced by her son. However, she managed sending Hiroki to the wizarding school, Mahoutokoro 魔法所, for two years where he was made an outcast by the other students who constantly picked on him. After finally giving up on him she sent him to an orphanage in the U.K. and soon after, he began school at Hogwarts. Outside the castle walls, Hiroki spent the majority of his life wandering from place to place; he ran away from the orphanage at 16. One could call him nomadic. Deep down, Hiroki feels he cannot rely on anyone else, he feels alone.

The uprising of the Ministry is something that Hiroki knows will lead to war. He’d never join them to be on the safe side, he could never dream about ever joining them. He’d fight against them even if it meant the death of him. Inside, he knows he has nothing to lose. He has no one. The only person he’s felt he’s ever been able to depend on… is himself.
